Hot Air Balloon Rides for Special Occasions!

Hot-air balloons offer a unique view of any environment, but on Croatia's Adriatic or continental lands the view is spectacular! Take your camera, your loved one, your family or friends on a special trip and enjoy yourselves high up in the sky. The trip will be thrilling and the experience will last a lifetime.

During summer months flights will normally take place just after sunrise or just before sunset - this is because the air is more settled. In winter months flight are possible throughout the day! Obviously the weather must be sunny and settled and flights in rain or snow are not possible - but then there isn't must to see then anyway :) Or a night flight under the canopy of the clear heavens and moonlit landscape would make a surreal and memorable experience.

We can also include a picnic and bottle of champange for those extra special occasions!

These are the conditions for balloon flight:

• Two type of flight are available: Tethered-Flight - where the balloon is anchored to the ground by a long rope; Free-Flight = where the balloon is free to fly with the wind.
• Flights are considered to last 10-60 minutes. (If you are flying for 61 minutes this is accounted for as a 2 hour flight)
• Smallest size for the safe inflation space must be 80 x 80m squared, without any obstacles, street lighting or electricity pylons, fences or vehicles.
• The surface must be clean, dry and free from sharp objects
• The maximum speed for a tethered-flight does not approach 3m/s
• The maximum speed for free-flight does not exceed 4m/s
• Free-flight is not possible within 20km of known mine fields
• Free-flight on the seaside is only possible with the special measurements and assessment of the Balloon Pilot
  
• Free-flight between island on the Adriatic are not possible
  
• Inflation of the balloon in rain or snow is not possible
  
• A balloon flight is only possible 2-3 hours after sunrise, or 2 hours before sunset (these are the times of least air turbulence).
  
• A tethered-flight is possible after sunset
  
• The crew should never be interrupted during balloon preparation. If interfered with the client will bear responsibility for any accidents
  
• The Balloon Pilot is responsible for the flight and decides whether a flight is possible for not. His decision is final!
  
• If the flight you have booked is not possible you will be offered the next possible date, but the client will need to cover the expenses of transport.
