Deep underground, through tunnels and caves lies a wilderness unlike any other wedding destination. After the subterranean train has driven you through the winding cave tunnels, under low arches and across high vaulted cave roofs your final stop is the underworld train station. Awaiting you and your guests is the entrance to this beautiful cave system, the biggest known system in the whole of Slovenia.

At a cool constant 6 degrees, during the summer months the coolness of the caves is a welcome break from the 30-40 degrees outside.

The fantastic, cavernous interior provides a unique and fascinating wedding venue for speleologists, cave lovers and anyone looking for a unique, astonishing and abstract wedding venue.

There are two main locations for a wedding, an intimate cave for smaller weddings and the Orchestra Hall, a massive open space beneath the huge mountain above in which 1000 people can gather to listen to musical concerts. The acoustics of these tremendous caves is unparalleled and add their eerie enchanting visual display to the sounds of any classical an operatic performance in the cave system.

Chairs can be decorated, flowers positioned with personal touches, choosing harmonious or distinctive colours. Classical musicians and singers sound amazing and the wedding ceremony read out by the celebrant will echo throughout the whole cave system.

After your underground ceremony your dinner can take place in real style at the 13th century castle. Their gastronomic offer and beautiful castle setting contrast and yet complement the subterranean ceremony giving you and your guests a sceptical of a wedding.
